AG Processing, Inc. (AGP) is a farmer-owned cooperative that has been in operation since 1983. The company is involved in the procurement, processing, marketing, and transportation of grains and grain products. With over 200 local cooperatives and 250,000 farmers in the American Midwest, as well as six regional cooperatives representing farmers in the United States and Canada, AGP's mission is to serve local cooperatives and agricultural producers by acquiring, processing, and marketing agricultural products. The company also markets branded products such as AminoPlus, AgGRowth, Protinal, and Proagro. AGP is headquartered in Omaha, Neb., and operates soybean processing plants in Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, and Nebraska, including a facility in Dawson, Minn.
