Air Conversion Technology, founded in 1994, revolutionized the oxygen concentrator industry with the introduction of a new piston cup material that increased the life of compressor rebuilds by 25%. This innovative black piston cup material quickly became the standard OEM cup, benefiting the industry as a whole. Over the years, the company has expanded to assist manufacturers with compressor design and manufacture, as well as providing key components for longer life compressors. In 2004, a remanufacturing facility was added in Sylvania, Ohio, which now rebuilds hundreds of compressors each month.
