Airlines for America

Airlines for America, formerly known as the Air Transport Association of America, is a leading airline trade association established in 1936 in Chicago. With a staff of over 75 people, the organization provides a wide range of services to its members, including committees focused on issues related to fuel, airports, engineering and maintenance, training, ground safety, medical issues, and international affairs. Recognized by state legislatures and federal agencies such as the Department of Transportation, the Federal Aviation Administration, the Department of Homeland Security, and Transportation Security Administration, Airlines for America operates through various departments dealing with operations and safety, engineering, airport operations, security, air traffic management, cargo, e-business, economics, federal and state government affairs, passenger services, and communications and public relations.
