Albemarle Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus is a privately owned practice that has been serving Central and Western Virginia for 35 years. Founded by Dr. Bruce T. Carter, the practice specializes in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus. Dr. B. Christian Carter joined the practice in 2006, and both physicians are University of Virginia Medical School graduates with completed Ophthalmology residencies and graduate fellowships in their specialties. The practice offers routine and surgical eye care for infants and children up to 21 years of age, as well as adults with alignment problems or double vision.
