Alzheimer's Association, Washington State Chapter

The Alzheimer's Association, Washington State Chapter, was founded in 1978 by family caregivers seeking support for their loved ones with dementia. As one of the founding chapters of the National Alzheimer's Association, the Washington State Chapter serves individuals living with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias, their families, healthcare professionals, and the general public across a 23-county service area. The organization's vision is a world without Alzheimer's and all other dementia, and its mission is to accelerate global research, drive risk reduction and early detection, and maximize quality care and support. Incorporated in 1980, the Alzheimer's Association is a leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer's care, support, and research, providing a range of programs and services to advance its mission.
