American Legion Auxiliary

The American Legion Auxiliary is the world's largest women's patriotic service organization, dedicated to meeting the needs of veterans, military, and their families. With nearly 9,500 units across the country, the Auxiliary volunteers millions of hours yearly, with a value of nearly $2 billion. They also provide annual scholarships and ALA Girls State programs to teach high school juniors about leadership and patriotism. Junior membership is offered to anyone under the age of 18 who is an immediate family member of an American Legion member or a deceased veteran.
