Amtrak is an intercity passenger rail operator in the United States, serving over 500 travel destinations in 30 plus routes across North America. The Charlotte Amtrak Station in Charlotte, North Carolina is served by three passenger trains and is located at 1914 North Tryon Street, about 1.5 miles (2.4 km) to the northeast of downtown Charlotte.
