Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families

Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families is a non-profit organization founded in 1977 that advocates for reforms to improve the lives of children and families in Arkansas. The organization has played a major role in challenging the state's juvenile justice and child welfare systems, leading efforts to create children's health insurance for working families, and fighting for quality preschool and out-of-school opportunities for at-risk children. AACF also champions economic security for Arkansas families by working to make the tax and budget system more balanced. The organization continues to be a voice for Arkansas kids and is a member of Voices for America's Children and the State Fiscal Analysis Initiative.
