Assist Inc

Founded in 1969 by the late Paul G. Sanderson, Jr., ASSIST is a nonprofit international student exchange organization that brings deserving and talented young men and women from around the world to study in the United States on one-year scholarships. Over the past 44 years, ASSIST has broadened its mission to respond to changes in educational and international landscapes, bringing Scholars from nations underrepresented in member schools' student bodies. With over 4,300 students from 50 countries having become ASSIST Scholars, the organization aims to create a worldwide circle of future leaders with deep cross-cultural connections. ASSIST is dedicated to promoting understanding and tolerance among a world of cultures, racial designations, and religious beliefs.
