Founded in 2004 by Tanja Cebula and Dr. John West, the Be Aware Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving women's lives by educating and inspiring them to follow early detection guidelines for breast cancer. Through a "lunch and learn" format, our volunteer RN’s and breast cancer survivors deliver a compelling educational program to companies, agencies, and other groups of women in Orange County. Attendees are encouraged to fill out a Personal Plan of Action committing to following early detection guidelines.
