At the societal level, our books advance social and economic justice, shared prosperity, sustainability, and new solutions to national and global issues. A major theme of our books is "Opening Up New Space." They challenge conventional thinking, introduce new ideas, and foster positive change. We strive to operate our publishing company in line with the ideas in our books, practicing stewardship and responsibility for the benefit of all our stakeholders. In 2012, we celebrated our 20th anniversary and in 2011, we launched Open Book Editions. In 2010, we made our books available on the iPad.
