Better Living Components Inc, established in 1893, is a leading supplier of building materials and millwork in central Virginia. In 1960, the company expanded its operations to include a furniture division, offering a local source for home furnishings and accessories. With three locations, Better Living also provides manufactured wall panels and trusses and operates the largest delivery system in central Virginia. As a general contractor, the company has constructed numerous buildings, schools, churches, and homes, including serving as the general contractor for the construction of Peabody Hall at the University of Virginia. Additionally, Better Living has developed several residential subdivisions in the Charlottesville area. The company is headquartered in Charlottesville, Virginia.
