Big Shanty Elementary School

Big Shanty Intermediate School, located in Kennesaw, Ga., is part of the Cobb County School District and offers a comprehensive academic curriculum including language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies, as well as classes in art, music, and physical education. The school also provides character education programs, gifted and talented education, a well-stocked media center, counseling services, and a parent-teacher association that organizes fundraising events, spelling bee competitions, and family nights.
