Brown Fisheries Fish House

Brown Fisheries Fish House has been serving the freshest Lake Superior Whitefish since 1992. Their house specialty is the fresh caught and hand filleted Lake Superior Whitefish, served deep fried or broiled with a choice of sides. They also offer house smoked whitefish and smoked fish dip, as well as daily specials such as the popular Smoked Whitefish Chowder. The restaurant is cash or check only, closed on Sundays, and may close early if they run out of their Whitefish supply for the day. They catch their whitefish and lake trout fresh from Lake Superior every morning and serve the day's catch until it runs out. Smoked whitefish is also available for sale by the pound the next day.
