Camp Simcha

Camp Simcha, a program of Chai Lifeline, was established in 1987 to provide an oasis of fun, friendship, love, and hope for children and teens with cancer and other blood-related illnesses. Camp Simcha Special was created in 2001 to meet the medical and social needs of children and teens with chronic and genetic ailments. Located on a 125-acre campus in Glen Spey, New York, both programs offer traditional camp activities, special events, and a positive environment that imbues campers with the confidence and fortitude they need to navigate life's trials. Every day brings something new and exciting for campers, who can share their hopes, fears, and triumphs with friends, or just forget about their illnesses for a while. Both programs are members of the Children's Oncology Camping Association and are Accredited by the American Camp Association.
