Cancer Epidemiology Biomarkers

The American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) is a nonprofit organization founded in 1907 that offers a range of services to cancer patients in Philadelphia and the surrounding areas. It provides assistance in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of cancer, as well as scientific research to various scientists, hospitals, and cancer-related organizations. The AACR also offers training opportunities for cancer researchers and works to increase public understanding of cancer. It publishes five scientific journals and provides advocacy and educational programs for cancer patients, their families, physicians, and scientists. Additionally, the organization offers various programs, including international scholar and special programs for high school students.
