Carolina Canine Rescue

Carolina Canine Rescue is a small, volunteer-run organization located in Mount Airy, NC, dedicated to rescuing unwanted and abandoned dogs and puppies from kill shelters. They rehabilitate and adopt these pets into new homes appropriate for each individual animal. All pets come with vetting records, a certificate of health for travel, and age-appropriate vaccines. Pets over 6 months of age are spayed or neutered, heartworm tested, and microchipped. The rescue adopts pets anywhere in the USA and Canada, with transportation available. Most of their small breed dogs have been exposed to electric wheelchairs and they do not adopt small breed dogs to families with young children. They also accept owner surrenders if space is available.
