Chicago Metropolitan Battered Women's Network

The Chicago Metropolitan Battered Women's Network (CMBWN) provides essential programs and activities aimed at addressing domestic violence. The Centralized Training Institute (CTI) offers comprehensive training for domestic violence advocates and allied professionals, educating thousands of individuals annually. The City of Chicago / State of Illinois Domestic Violence Help Line, operated by CMBWN, provides confidential, multi-lingual support and referrals to over 24,000 callers annually. Additionally, CMBWN leads public policy and advocacy efforts, serving as a forum for information exchange and collaboration within the domestic violence services community. Founded in 1983, CMBWN is a coalition of over 40 organizations dedicated to improving the lives of those impacted by domestic violence.
