Children of Shelters

Children of Shelters is dedicated to connecting children living in or being supported by family transitional shelters to enrichment and educational opportunities, in order to improve their chances of breaking the cycle of poverty. The organization provides a range of support, from cultural activities to in-shelter tutoring and tuition assistance, to help children develop self-confidence, leadership skills, and improved education. They are committed to addressing the basic and more in-depth needs of the children they serve, with the goal of ending homelessness for San Francisco's youth.
