Christ Community Mennonite Church

Christ Community Mennonite Church is a multi-racial community grounded in Jesus, enthusiastic about worship, and passionate about social justice. They are committed to restoring a broken world and have recently voted to be open and welcoming to all people, including GLBT individuals, in membership to their church. The church believes in the separation of church and state, and takes the teachings of Jesus to heart. They are a small but welcoming group of Mennonites who care about each other and the world around them, and react with love, not protest or hate. Their Pastor is a powerful and healing woman who delivers original and thought-provoking sermons. The church is located in a converted dairy barn, rebuilt by the congregants, and serves as a monument to the vision and follow-through of LeRoy and Pauline Kennel.
