Christofersen, Mark R MD

Dr. Mark R Christofersen is a certified orthopedic surgeon with a focus on childhood musculoskeletal disorders, including complex foot, knee, and hip deformities, as well as scoliosis, fractures, and cerebral palsy. He received his medical degree from the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine and completed a fellowship in Pediatric Orthopaedics at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. Dr. Christofersen has lectured and taught extensively on these topics and is an active member of the medical staff at several hospitals. He is also involved in the leadership of TOA and has served on the Board. Outside of medicine, Dr. Christofersen enjoys playing guitar, mandolin, and the fiddle, as well as gardening, sailing, and photography.
