Coastal Designs has been creating residential home designs with a coastal look for over 30 years. Their 2011 Cottage Brochures feature over 300 cottages, bungalows, and traditional homes inspired by coastal architecture. They offer custom homes and a portfolio of predesigned cottages, duplex cottages, and townhomes, with designs for barrier islands, waterways, towns, villages, and communities along coastal areas. Their plans are designed to be energy-efficient and economical to build, with options for raised piers, crawl space, or slab construction. They also offer designs for inverted floor plans, double-frontage lots, narrow lots, golf course lots, intracoastal waterway lots, lake-side lots, and traditional neighborhoods. Additionally, they have options for single-family, duplex, and townhouse cottages, including "Green" cottages built to ENERGY STAR standards.
