Community Campership Council

The Community Campership Council does not operate its own camps, but instead partners with 24 accredited camps to provide outdoor learning experiences for San Diego youth. Through their Kids to Camp program, they have provided camperships for 577 children, with a focus on those from economically diverse backgrounds. Their efforts have helped children develop responsibility, teamwork skills, and an increased interest in science and the environment. The organization has been providing these opportunities since 1966 and aims to continue enriching the lives of San Diego youth through nature-based camp experiences.
