Conect

CONECT is a non-partisan, multi-faith organization in Southern CT, focused on social and economic justice and policies of common good. The organization began as a group of clergy exploring the concept of community organizing to address common concerns across faith traditions, ethnicities, and economic status in Fairfield and New Haven Counties CT. It was officially founded in 2011 and is governed by a Strategy Committee and an Executive Committee, overseeing volunteer-run teams and supported by paid organizers and administrators. CONECT has prioritized issues such as access to affordable health care, equal access to education financing, and the elimination of predatory lending practices.
