The Consumer Health Foundation is a local, private foundation dedicated to achieving health justice in the Washington, D.C. region. Their mission is to advance the health and well-being of historically underserved communities through initiatives that empower consumers to make decisions and take actions that improve personal, family, and community health. The foundation envisions a region and nation where everyone has an equal opportunity to live a healthy and dignified life, regardless of race, ethnicity, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic status.
