Creative Steps

The Aurelia Foundation, founded in 2010 by parents of special needs individuals, aims to provide individualized day programs for persons with moderate to severe disabilities as they transition from the school system to community life. The foundation focuses on vocational training, communication skills, self-advocacy, daily living, self-help skills, and social connections to encourage the development of unique talents. The Creative Steps Adult Day program specifically emphasizes job training and acquisition, social integration, life skills, and meaningful life choices for adults with developmental and intellectual challenges. The program aims to complement state funding and provide a safe, supportive environment for clients to continue growing and learning necessary skills for greater independence and community engagement.
