Discovery Studios, established in 2007, is the full-service production studio within Discovery Communications. The studio creates, develops and produces high-quality, innovative original series, specials, and short-form content across multiple genres. With offices in Los Angeles, New York, London, and Silver Spring, Discovery Studios is one of the largest producers of series and specials across all of Discovery Communications' domestic and international networks, and companies worldwide, averaging over 150 program hours a year. Notable programs include "Hoarding: Buried Alive," "Alaska: The Last Frontier," "Shark Bites!" with Craig Ferguson, and "Finding Amelia," as well as legacy franchises like "Puppy Bowl" and shows for networks like OWN and Style.
