Echo Mountain

Echo Mountain is Denver's closest and most affordable ski resort, offering skiing, snowboarding, tubing, and a delicious restaurant and bar. Located just 50 minutes and 35 miles from downtown Denver, Echo provides an authentic Colorado snow sports experience just outside the city. Originally operating as Squaw Pass Ski Area from 1960-1975, Echo Mountain was resurrected in 2005 with a focus on terrain parks and later became a private ski race training facility. Under new ownership in 2016, Echo Mountain has expanded its offerings, including an expanded beginner area and a tubing hill, to provide a personal mountain experience that is convenient and affordable. Owned and operated by the Petitt family, Echo Mountain aims to offer a different type of skiing and boarding experience for Colorado's front range.
