Emergency Skills, Inc. (ESI) is a safety training company specializing in deploying Philips Heartstart Defibrillators, American Heart Association CPR, AED and First Aid training, and Medical Oversight. Founded in 1977, ESI's focus is to train corporate employees to respond confidently and calmly to workplace emergencies, with the goal of saving lives and improving quality of life. ESI offers quality safety training programs to businesses, non-profit organizations, government agencies, and individuals in the New York City area. As the main distributor for Philips Medical Systems in New York City, ESI has been working to expand the availability of Automated External Defibrillators (AED) since 1997. In 2000, ESI became an American Heart Association Training Center and currently trains more corporate employees in the Heartsaver AED program than any other training center in New York. With the distinction of being a Multi-Regional Training Center since July 2003, ESI is able to offer training anywhere in the United States.
