Extreme Welding & Machine Services (EWMS) provides welding and metal fabrication services, diagnostics, and mechanics on-site and in the shop. With over 15 years in business, owners Larry and Jared Smith and their experienced team of welders and mechanics repair, rebuild, and maintain heavy equipment for the southern Illinois mining, agriculture, oil field, and construction industries. The company is fully insured and MSHA certified for working on underground equipment on the surface, and offers a range of services including line boring, equipment and truck diagnostics and repair, hydraulic repair, crane and hauling services, retail welding and hydraulic supplies, metal sales, federal and state DOT inspections, and more. With two locations in Ridgway and Equality, Illinois, and a fleet of company-owned trucks and equipment, EWMS is prepared to provide 24/7 repair services.
