Placer Food Bank is the leading hunger-relief charity in Placer, El Dorado, and Nevada counties, serving as the primary food collection and distribution center for hunger-relief efforts in the area. As a certified member of Feeding America and a proud member of the California Association of Food Banks, the organization has been distributing food and nourishing the community since 1970. Placer Food Bank serves a regional network of over 60 charitable feeding programs, feeding 72,000 hungry people each month and providing various programs beyond traditional food aid to promote community building and self-reliance.
