Business Description
Flying Dog Brewery is a well-known craft brewery originally from Aspen, Colorado and now headquartered in Frederick, Maryland. They are best known for their pale ales, with their "Doggie Style" winning "The Best Pale Ale in America" award in 1991. The brewery has a rich history, starting as a small brewpub in Aspen in 1990 and later expanding to a 50-barrel brewery in Denver. In 2006, Flying Dog acquired the Frederick Brewing Company in Maryland, where close to 70% of their beer is now brewed. The brewery is known for its creativity, humor, and innovation in developing unique beers with surprising flavor profiles. While their tasting room is currently closed to the public, brewery tours are available by reservation.
