Gosman, Amanda A, MD

Dr. Amanda A. Gosman is a board-certified plastic surgeon specializing in cleft lip and palate surgery, pediatric and adult craniofacial surgery, microsurgical facial reanimation, breast reconstruction, and aesthetic surgery. She holds the position of associate professor of plastic surgery and director of Pediatric Plastic Surgery at UC San Diego Health, where she also directs the Plastic Surgery Residency Program and the Craniofacial Fellowship Program. Dr. Gosman is the director of the Fresh Start Clinic for Craniofacial Anomalies at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego, providing reconstructive surgeries for children at no cost. She has extensive experience in international health care and education, utilizing telemedicine technology to overcome logistical barriers. Dr. Gosman has authored numerous publications and given lectures internationally on various topics related to plastic surgery and international health. She is the founder of ConnectMed International, a nonprofit organization providing free reconstructive surgeries and education to underserved communities worldwide.
