Greater Memphis Chamber

The vision of the Small Business Council is to serve as the advocate for business by encouraging, supporting, recognizing, and being a resource that enriches business practices within the community. The council provides business education, networking opportunities, and governmental advocacy for small businesses. Launched in 2007 by the Greater Memphis Chamber, the Small Business Council addresses the needs of small- and medium-sized businesses, which make up 90 percent of the Chamber's membership. The Greater Memphis Chamber, founded in 1838 and also known as the Memphis Regional Chamber, is a nonprofit economic development agency serving the Memphis and Shelby County area, with a focus on various industries such as bioscience, logistics, distribution, manufacturing, corporate office, music, film, and tourism.
