Since 1988, Gritty McDuff's has been creating fine, handcrafted ales and traditional pub fare. With three Maine locations, the family-friendly outpost offers American eats and housemade beer in down-to-earth digs. From humble beginnings as a small brew pub in Portland's Old Port, Gritty's has grown to become the brew pub of choice for Mainers and visitors alike. The founders' goal was to create a true, English-style pub serving fresh ales and great food, and to have fun doing it. The accolades for Gritty McDuff's have been piling up, with frequent awards as "Maine's Best Brew Pub" and "Best Maine Microbrew".
