Holocaust Awareness Museum and Education Center

The Holocaust Awareness Museum and Education Center, founded in 1961 by survivor Yaakov Riz, is America's first Holocaust museum. The museum's mission is to educate students and adults about the consequences of intolerance, racism, and hatred by personalizing Holocaust history. It serves a diverse population, offering programs and exhibits both in person and virtually. The museum has reached tens of thousands of students and continues to emphasize the message that racial, ethnic, and religious hatred weaken American democracy.
