Horizons for Youth

Horizons for Youth is a Chicago-based organization that provides need-based scholarships, comprehensive support programs, and educational resources for students of all academic ability levels from kindergarten through the start of their career. The organization's holistic approach has led to a 99 percent high school graduation rate and an 84 percent college enrollment rate among its participants. In addition, the organization's Young Professional Board (YPB) works to promote, fundraise, and support the work of Horizons for Youth through regular social events, fundraising efforts, and initiatives to benefit the students and families. Founded in 1990, Horizons for Youth is dedicated to helping children recognize and achieve their full potential through need-based scholarships, one-on-one mentoring, and enrichment programs.
