House of Ruth

House of Ruth has been providing life-saving domestic violence services for residents of eastern Los Angeles and western San Bernardino counties since 1977. The organization offers a range of programs including emergency and transitional shelter, children's programs, counseling, community services, and prevention and outreach. Services are available in both Spanish and English and are free of charge, with no discrimination based on various factors. The organization also provides comprehensive case management, ongoing education for minor children, access to healthcare, transitional housing, and counseling for children exposed to violence. Operating independently, House of Ruth has outreach and administrative offices in Los Angeles and San Bernardino counties, as well as an undisclosed location for emergency and transitional shelter.
