ISP Optics Corporation has expanded its market position as an Infrared Optics Company with the acquisition of the coating assets of Opticorp Inc. This move has allowed ISP to establish a new division in Israel, ISP Optics Design and Engineering Israel, which will provide design and engineering capability in-house, leading to the development of new products and custom design support for SWIR, MWIR, and LWIR. The acquisition was facilitated by The DAK Group, an Investment Banking firm, and has allowed ISP Optics to continue its vertical integration in the infrared industry, providing complete optics solutions to its customers. Additionally, ISP Optics has expanded its diamond turning operations and started the production of infrared diffractive optics at its Irvington, NY plant. The company has also signed a two-way exclusive rights agreement with Ohyo Koken Kogyo Co., LTD to distribute optical products in Japan and the USA. ISP Optics has also been involved in high-profile projects such as providing CaF2 prisms for the NASA "Deep Impact" mission.
