Ivor A. Emanuel, MD is a highly experienced physician in San Francisco who integrates the specialties of ear, nose and throat, and allergy and asthma. With over 40 years of experience, he offers a unique integrative approach to treating a wide range of conditions in both adults and children. Dr. Emanuel is a pioneer in the use of self-administered sublingual immunotherapy for allergies and has successfully treated many patients with severe snoring and nasal congestion using innovative, painless procedures. He is also actively involved in research and has published numerous scientific papers and book chapters. Dr. Emanuel is a Fellow and Past President of the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy, a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery, and a Member of the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. He serves on the Clinical Faculty of both UCSF and Stanford University.
