Jersey Shore Animal Center

Established in 1981, the Jersey Shore Animal Center is a private, 501C-3 non-profit organization dedicated to pet adoptions and animal welfare in Ocean, Monmouth and surrounding counties. The center provides pet therapy, education on responsible pet ownership, and support for other animal welfare organizations. It operates without federal, state or county funding and relies on private donors for support. Governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, the center employs 15 full and part-time personnel and has over 100 dedicated volunteers. The center no longer provides animal control services for the Township of Brick and the Borough of Mantoloking. The mission of the Jersey Shore Animal Center is to care for unwanted, abused, and sick animals and find them loving forever homes.
