Jo Bar & Rotisserie, a part of Portland landmark restaurant Papa Haydn, was founded in 1995 by owners Evelyn Franz & Michael Gibbons. Inspired by their travels to Italy and Greece, they opened Jo Bar to reflect their love of simple, good food. The restaurant features wood burning oven and rotisserie, exclusively fired by local fruitwood and hardwood, offering a variety of cuisines including beef tenderloins, rotisserie chicken, roasted scallops, and pork dishes. The restaurant also offers handcrafted cocktails, a curated list of boutique liquors, and an outstanding wine list. Live music is featured every Wednesday and Sunday evenings.
