Kidpower of Colorado

Kidpower of Colorado Springs provides safety education and confidence-building skills to young people ages 3-18. As the local center of Kidpower International, a non-profit organization, their programs are known for being positive, practical, safe, and age-appropriate. They teach young people to recognize potential danger and provide practical solutions for various scenarios, such as inappropriate touch, bullying, and internet intrusions. Kidpower also offers support for parents and caregivers in discussing these issues with their children. The organization values collaboration and has partnered with 175 other agencies, organizations, and schools in the community, reaching over 27,000 people in the Pikes Peak Region. Additionally, Kidpower is collaborating with the Colorado Springs Police Department to stop child victimization through a Child Sexual Predator Program Grant awarded by the U.S. Department of Justice COPS Office.
