KLMR, formerly known as KIDW-AM, has a rich history dating back to 1932. After a period of being dark, the station was revitalized in 1948 as KLMR with increased signal strength. Over the years, the station underwent several ownership and format changes. In 2004, Cherry Creek Radio, LLC purchased the station and made significant changes, including the return of the Noon News and a shift in formats. Today, KLMR is known as NewsRadio 920 KLMR and serves as the Voice of the High Plains, providing news, weather, sports, and ag news to the community.
