Mackintosh Academy

At Mackintosh, we are passionate, engaged, creative, and empathetic. Guided by the International Baccalaureate (IB) Learner Profile, our vision is to discover the best in ourselves and others, understand the world, and contribute meaningfully to it. In 2020, the Board of Trustees launched a yearlong strategic planning process led by Trustee Kelly Keena. This inclusive effort involved trustees, staff, teachers, parents, and alumni, and built on our previous five-year plan, VISION 2020. The committee gathered input from over 150 stakeholders and aligned the plan with feedback from the Association of Colorado Independent Schools (ACIS). The updated plan retains the original four pillars – People, Place, Program, and Prosperity – and adds a fifth: Risk Management. It strengthens our foundation and outlines a path for continued growth as Mackintosh nears its 50th year.
