Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation

The Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation, founded in 1962 by Brigadier General Martin F. Rockmore USMC (Ret.), has provided over 40,000 scholarships valued at nearly $125,000,000 to deserving students, with 2,300 scholarships awarded for the 2018-2019 academic year. As the cost of post-high school education continues to rise, the Foundation remains relevant in providing financial assistance to the children of Marines who have sacrificed for their country. The organization's commitment to honoring Marines by educating their children has been ongoing for over 56 years, delivering a meaningful expression of gratitude to Marine Corps families. The Foundation is the nation's oldest and largest provider of need-based scholarships to military children, with a focus on supporting the education of children whose parents have been killed or wounded in action.
