The academy serves the educational needs of over 360 students from infants to 8th graders on its 7-acre campus near the Vienna metro. With a strong emphasis on character education and academic preparation, Merritt Academy offers a comprehensive curriculum including classes in English, art, computer science, math, Spanish, and French. The academy also provides a variety of extracurricular activities, including a strong afterschool program, to make life easier for parents. Merritt Academy is approved by the Virginia Independent Schools Association and is operated by the Sunrise Senior Living Education Foundation.
