Middleton Early Learning Center

Middleton Early Learning Center is a non-profit organization that offers excellence in early childhood education in a loving, nurturing atmosphere at an affordable cost for young families. Fully accredited by the state of New Jersey, MELC focuses on fostering independence, trust, and self-esteem in each child. The center provides a variety of schedule options as well as before and aftercare, serving the towns of Glen Ridge, Montclair, Bloomfield, and East Orange. The program is designed for children from 2 years and 4 months through kindergarten level, with a focus on hands-on learning through exploration, experimentation, and discovery. Led by an experienced staff, MELC continues the tradition of excellence in early childhood education established by founder Kathleen Middleton in 1972.
