Business Description
Midway Artist Studios offers 89 live-work spaces in Fort Point, Boston, providing affordable housing for artists. The building was established in 2005 to address the displacement of working artists due to real estate development in the area. In 2014, the artists organized to purchase the building, making it a permanent rental artist-controlled space. The unique rental model encourages the free flow of ideas and allows artists from around the world to live and work in Boston. Each loft is designed to accommodate the distinct living and creative working style of the artist, making it a dynamic and inspired space.
