Nationwide Recovery Systems is a medical collections agency with a dubious reputation. They have been accused of attempting to extort people, engaging in unethical practices such as providing incorrect or incomplete information, harassing people and not removing paid accounts from their credit reports. Several customers have reported being contacted in a rude manner and receiving calls from multiple, foreign phone numbers. In addition, evidence of multiple accounts for the same debt has been provided, indicating that Nationwide Recovery Systems may be in violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
